August 11, 2008 – I600 Approved and sent to National Visa Center
July 18, 2008 – Acceptance paperwork sent to Korea
July 9, 2008 – All referral acceptance paperwork to Children’s Home Society and Family Services
July 2, 2008 – Received official referral acceptance paperwork
June 27, 2008 – Received NEW I-600a for Korea
June 17, 2008 – Applied for our one free change of country from USCIS
June 16, 2008 – Updated homestudy ready
May 7, 2008 – Accepted as clients of Children’s Home Society and Family Services
April 30, 2008 – Accepted the referral of the twins from South Korea
April 28, 2008 – Received Foster to Adopt license from the State of Illinois
April 22, 2008 – Received unexpected word that there was a set of twins for us to reveiw - accepted review of twins from South Korea
April 3, 2008 – Meet with social worker for walk thru of home for home study update and application for foster license
January 22, 2008 – Officially switched to Korea program with Lifelink – waiting to be married three years
January 14, 2008 – I-600a for Vietnam approved
December 1, 2007 – Fingerprint appointment in Naperville, IL
November 8, 2007 – Log in date at USCIS – awaiting finger print letters
November 5, 2007 – Mailed I-600a (and all of their requested paperwork) to USCIS
October 3, 2007 – Received word that DCFS approved our homestudy
September 17, 2007 – Received letter from CAS that they approved our homestudy
August 21, 2007 - My review of the homestudy
August 1, 2007 – Speed bump but progress continues!
July 12, 2007 – All of the home study paper work is to the social worker
June 20, 2007 – Our home visit with Jill, the social worker
April 16, 2007 - My husband’s one on one meeting with the Social Worker
April 6, 2007 – My one on one meeting with the Social Worker
March 27, 2007 – An unexpected surprise! A certified copy of my birth certificate arrived today! One step closer!
March 22, 2007 - I request a copy of my birth certificate so that we can send in the I600A and I can get a passport
March 17, 2007 – Application sent to CAS who partners with our adoption agency
March 12, 2007 – First meeting with Social Worker for Home Study

Loved the pups last Saturday. Saw you at the YC parade with your niece. News Pups are all they are cracked up to be. L is Marching with the Flags this Sat in Hanna City. Then no preformances until the 31st, First home FB game. Life has been busy here L is settling into HS life and M is freaking about the job of being a third grader..Cal has some legal questions reguarding conflict of intrest in hiring, maybe you can help clear the water…I have interviewed for a full time spot at Kohl’s as the Shoe Supervisor, they say we will know by Monday…Yikes I’m not sure if I am scared or excited…. Well I will go for now call me Sunday night if you can same as always…
