{57/365} An Important Gold For Us
Last night I cried as Kim Yu-Na skated into our hearts and a place of honor in our home. She might be one of the most popular people in Korea, she may have had the weight of a nation on her shoulders but she skated beautifully! She is a good role model that I can give Little Princess so that she sees Koreans in an amazing light AND sees that she can do and be whatever she wants (Little Man as well). I am so excited about this gold, and even though this whole thing is a complete loss to my children right now it is not to me! {56/365} How do you decide?
TWO good things happened today! First, I started preparing for the Mothers of Multiples Sale. Yes, this is something I should start LONG before now as I already know when the two sales next year will be but it is a daunting task with all of their clothing and toys and everything. Plus, I have been trying to decide what to keep and what to let go. We do not feel we are done with children, though we are not sure how the remaining children will join our family or at what age. So it makes it hard to make those decisions. I finally today decided I had to have a special attachment to the clothing or it had to be worn for a special occasion. {55/365} I did it…
Yep I did it…by it I mean I separated Little Man and Little Princess for nap time. I had tried one time before and Little Princess had a MAJOR meltdown so I have been leaving them together. Today I reached my limit on them not napping and no real quiet time for mommy so I marched up the stairs pack n’ play in hand set it up in our bedroom so they could still see each other through the door between the two rooms, grabbed Little Princess and all of her things and set it up. {52/365} Dinner at GiGi’s
Today was a monthly dinner with Aaron’s Grandma ~ GiGi ~ she recently moved to a retirement community and so the people there always seem to love it when we come to visit! We usually have at least one resident stop us and ask us to keep bring the kids, tell us how cute the kids are or just smile at us as we pass through the common areas to get to GiGi’s!
