Yearly Cookies with Grandma M

So it has become a tradition to make cookies with my mom on the first Saturday of December. She invites all of the grandkids over and then allows them all to make their favorite kinds of cookies and the rolled with cookie cutter sugar cookies. I have a lot of pictures from this and I am going to try and only put the ones of my kids on here. Also before I put these up I was trying something new with my hair and it didn’t work so don’t pay attention to my hair! Little Man’s favorite task…turning on the mixer! Korean Cultural Dinner

While we were discussing international adoption, Aaron and I agreed that no matter what country our child came from their culture would always be their culture no matter where they grew up. So for the twins they will ALWAYS be Korean even if they grow up in midwestern America and we would do what was necessary to make sure they would know about their heritage and culture. We found an amazing organization in the town where Aaron went to college to help college students from Korea – the Korean Cultural Center but they also help adoptees (matter of fact the president of the board is an adult adoptee from Korea…). Christmas Traditions

When Aaron and I got married we decided that we would wait until we had kids to set any solid Christmas traditions, so last year Aaron and I had our first opportunity to start our own family traditions for Christmas!  We decided to start small and work our  way up.
