Family Day – October 12, 2008

I am not sure that I ever believed anyone when they said this day and this day alone would make you feel every emotion in the book and I mean everyone. It started out full of excitement and ended with exhaustion. The foster mother made us breakfast, Korean style and I was in heaven and my husband well he was not so sure but he tried it and liked it! Then came the most heart wrenching part of the day – the blessing ceremony and saying good bye to the foster parents, I cried soooooo hard. Can't Sleep…

So it is 2:00 a.m. here and apparently I am the only one who cannot sleep. I can hear the steady breathing of my mom and Aaron. In 8 hours we meet Little Man and Little Diva – while I was sleeping we received an e-mail that will be published in their agencies newletter when we return! Except for the 14 hour flight, everything seems so surreal and at times even the flight seemed surreal. Everytime I see anything dealing with my babies I start crying, this is not only really going to happen it is going to happen in less than a week. Korea…

We made it! Yes, that is correct we are in Korea! The flight was well LONG, I watched FIVE movies, played some games and listened to my iPod! I watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall (didn’t really like it but was not in the mood to switch movies), Kung Fu Panda, Made of Honor, Sex and the City, and Baby Mama. I loved that I could watch a different movie than anyone else on the plane or even the same (my mom and I watched Baby Mama at the same time)! We played Yatzee against each other and watched on the screen where we were in the flight, and how long we had left.
