Santa Here We Come….
So I bit the bullet and took the twins to see Santa at the mall — I wanted to be able to take my own pictures but I had waited too long (starting next year we will have breakfast with Santa to support some firemen I know but I missed it this year). Because I was worried about how they would take to the big man in red I asked their Grandma and Grandpa H if they wanted to join us and of course they said YES! Santa’s hours at the mall started at noon today so we met at the mall early enough to have lunch BEFORE we stood in line. Here we are prepping for the santa trip: This is how the pictures started out… Then we started to get this: and … Read entire article »

Merry Christmas to Me
So it came…it finally came and I am over the moon! There were ordering issues and I almost was not able to get the lens but my AMAZING husband told me “order the lens” because he knew I would use it! I ended up with free overnight shipping for the whole shebang and I almost didn’t sleep last night because I was so excited that my d90 was almost here! I wanted this camera FOREVER (or at least it felt like it). Then it came…the poor ups guy met me at the door in my pjs with no bra on (me not the UPS guy) and a HUGE smile! I opened the box and actually squealed like a little girl! It took every ounce of self-control I had to not … Read entire article »

Cookies with Grandma & Grandpa
So we were able to do cookies with Aaron’s parents as well! We did them at our house when it was play date time! They had fun! Here is the proof: and because it was so cute to watch him literally throw the balls on the cookie sheet: (see he was not even watching what he was doing…grandma had to move them so they were not piled on top of each other) … Read entire article »

Yearly Cookies with Grandma M
So it has become a tradition to make cookies with my mom on the first Saturday of December. She invites all of the grandkids over and then allows them all to make their favorite kinds of cookies and the rolled with cookie cutter sugar cookies. I have a lot of pictures from this and I am going to try and only put the ones of my kids on here. Also before I put these up I was trying something new with my hair and it didn’t work so don’t pay attention to my hair! Little Man’s favorite task…turning on the mixer! (If he sees my mixer now he thinks he should get to turn it on.) Little Princess helped Grandma drop out the chocolate chip cookies and even got to try a … Read entire article »

Christmas Traditions
When Aaron and I got married we decided that we would wait until we had kids to set any solid Christmas traditions, so last year Aaron and I had our first opportunity to start our own family traditions for Christmas! We decided to start small and work our way up. We talked a lot about these “small” traditions (we started talking about them on the way to Korea last year) and came up with this list: Make Christmas cookies with both Grandmas (both already did this with their other grandkids) Spend at least an evening if not a whole day in November and December giving back (we hope to find something to do every month eventually) The kids will get 4 gifts total from mommy and daddy (next year we have to come … Read entire article »
