Ok so it has been a month and a lot has happened lately! First…..adoption….well we have unfrozen things and we are moving toward a baby….our home visit is June 20, 2007 and our social worker has assured me that we now have everything EXECPT Aaron’s TB test (so if you see Aaron ask him over and over again if he has had his TB test yet) to have our home study done by July 1, 2007. She said she can have it done before that but that it has to go to CAS and be approved by them and then on to USCIS, giving Aaron and I about six weeks to compile all of the dossier so that when that beloved 171-H comes we can quickly get the dossier where … Read entire article »

First adoption news….we have put it on hold for two weeks approximately…why you would ask, well I (Carissa) have a job interview with a company in Bloomington and well if I get the job (which we pray I will – you can pray with us…) then some of the paperwork has to be changed. Plus our house should be pretty complete in a few weeks and it will not be a hazard for the social worker to step foot in it as well as we should have our police records back and Aaron should have his TB test done! a puppy mommy! Katie one of our Norfolk Terriers just had her first puppies with us! SO far we have two we will see if there is more to come! Sorry there have been no posts for awhile, we have been working on the house with a vengance and well it looks amazing and will look even better when we are done, hopefully in early June! Ok so anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE (major understatment) to make lists…so what did I do today I made some lists. Actually a budget and a list….what am I making a list for well we have only so many months before we will have no more time to do the small things to the house that we have wanted to do so we have decided to budget a couple of paychecks and make some (ok MANY) changes to the house, some necessary and some we (ok maybe just I) just wanted to be done!
