Certifiable – that is what I was called today! But that is ok, I know that I do some crazy things and sometimes I win! For the next ten months I get to be mom to twin toddlers and a 15 year old I am going to call Sonny for blogging purposes! Yep, the exchange student has arrived and starts school today. I have a very bad case right now and here is why: It was not that long ago that I was sitting at a lunch table at BlogHer with at least 10 other women. We all had one thing in common – we love our children very much but the world wants to see our children and sometimes us as special in some way. By the world’s terms, we all have special needs children but by our terms we just have children, our children. So today I have all kinds of things to talk about from the kids to a great new organization and blog to follow! First the kids are great…we went to their two year appt. yesterday. They weigh 24 lbs each and are 32 inches each! Little bundles of love… And we are having them allergy tested because we have had a few issues of late. Some other fun facts about the kids…Little Man appears to know the value of a good fit so before he throws one he makes sure the area around him is clear and will then gently lay himself on the floor and then start his fit (by this time I am laughing so hard that I have forgotten why the fit started in the first place)!! (while this post is picture heavy — not as much as it could be because I realized there were two kids and two parents) It is Sunday night – the party is over and Chicago was canceled as Aaron had a MASSIVE sinus infection when he woke up, he ended up sleeping most of the day (which was ok with the kids!). The party was well as I expected…some parts were a hit, some were a miss and others made me wonder where my kids went!
