The Faith of a Child

If you recall from my last post we moved in December and I am not ashamed to say I still have more boxes in the garage than I thought I would at this point BUT it is fun finding things I forgot I had! I may or may not have mentioned a small book hoarding issue Aaron and I have and have been working on. One way we have been trying to work on it is he has a nook and I have my iPad and iPhone with nook and kindle apps. And it has helped, I even started getting my magazines on my nook app and LOVE it, I get to keep them all AND not have to figure out where I will store them Anyway the only … Read entire article »

I cannot … Read entire article »

It is as if she is learning soooo much. Apparently I have not hit on Little Man’s learning style yet as he is not learning as quickly as she is but that is … Read entire article »

{95/365} Some Lessons for Next Time…

Most of you know we have had an exchange student for this school year. Let’s just say that Aaron and I have learned A LOT about Korea and Korean teenagers, as well as exchange students but very little about this exchange student specifically. So here is a list of some mistakes we made/things we will do differently next time. (What we will do next time is first and why or better known as the mistakes we made is second.) Allow NO contact with anyone from the students home country for at least 3 months. Within 2 days of being in our house we took our student to church where she promptly met 3 Korean couples ~ none with children her age ~ and then refused to get close to anyone … Read entire article »
