Please Help Bring Home the Bac Lieu 16

Typically my blog posts are well about my family but today I have some very special families and their amazing children to share with you and I hope that you take the initiative to help, which does not mean money necessarily but prayers or a phone call or a letter! If you  go back to the beginning of this blog you will see that we started out hoping to adopt from Vietnam. I had many reasons … Read entire article »

{66/365} Remembering Fred

What a difference a year can make, I think the only Sunday in all of the last year I remember like it was yesterday is this one, the rest I cannot tell you what happened that day at all. One year ago: I remember we were going to have these family pictures taken at 3 pm: I was excited as these were our first family pictures. So I didn’t get online much that day (especially since the time had changed that day as well) and nothing was going as planned, nothing. I explained what upset me about the last appointment and was assured that would not happen at this office. It didn’t, but Little Princess remembers the last time (I would … Read entire article »

The song has me thinking though about the last year and how really there are some people who without them my life really would s*ck right now (and while yes that would be so true about my husband and kids this post is not about them or about Alison who I could write about for days….) I never expected the last year to be so hard. I never expected that my identity would be so wrapped up in a title and how a change of that title would just about do me in. I never expected … Read entire article »

National Women's Friendship Month – Tinychat #1

Hello! Remember last Friday when I said that September is National Women’s Friendship Month and that on September 10th and September 24th I am going to do a tinychat in honor of that, well it is the 10th ladies (and gentlemen!)!
