{55/365} I did it…
Yep I did it…by it I mean I separated Little Man and Little Princess for nap time. I had tried one time before and Little Princess had a MAJOR meltdown so I have been leaving them together. Today I reached my limit on them not napping and no real quiet time for mommy so I marched up the stairs pack n’ play in hand set it up in our bedroom so they could still see each other through the door between the two rooms, grabbed Little Princess and all of her things and set it up. Not my kids apparently. No matter how hard I try they will not sleep at nap time period, they only want to play with each other and I am at my wits end. {53/365} Who hasn’t had an obstacle?
Just saw the perfect quote on twitter ~ “if a road doesn’t have an obstacle in it then it probably doesn’t go anywhere” ~ from a wise old okie to Sandi Patty…. {52/365} Dinner at GiGi’s
Today was a monthly dinner with Aaron’s Grandma ~ GiGi ~ she recently moved to a retirement community and so the people there always seem to love it when we come to visit! We usually have at least one resident stop us and ask us to keep bring the kids, tell us how cute the kids are or just smile at us as we pass through the common areas to get to GiGi’s! {51/365} Grandma & Grandpa’s
So today we went to my mom and dad’s house for some fun time with Grandma and Grandpa! I want to remember a few stories: (1) We met my mom and my sister at the ice cream shop where my sister was meeting her wedding photographer to go over her order for her wedding pictures. After Little Princess ate her ice cream she saw the pictures and had so much fun telling me who was in the pictures…she is the queen of being able to identify who people are. You say a name and she can show you where that person’s picture is in our house. Well she was doing that with the proofs my sister had and everyone LOVED it!
