I have spent the last two days finalizing party plans for these two cute faces (more that didn’t make the absolute favorite cut from the two year shoot):
Little Princess telling everyone to come on in and have fun!
(How excited they are for their party!)
So the party starts at 2 p.m. —
They will be asleep then (I hope anyway) as they freak out when they see people come through the door
2:30 p.m. (or about )
Smash cakes, candles, and happy birthday (sung twice naturally)
3:00 p.m.
Hanbocks and Tol (they never got one on their first birthday)
3:30 p.m.
Unwrap gifts — I hope they are never too interested in gifts
Then hang out until around
5:00 p.m.
Dinner — for the Korean Dinner:
Bulgogi
Zucchini Jeon
Kimchi Stew
Bibimbap – with an array of vegetables to choose from
Jumuk-Bap (rice balls with Beef and seaweed)
Poached Asian Pears
Rice Cakes with Honey
(Aaron’s mom is making some American food as well….these foods include tons of fruit and vegetables!)
After dinner is cake and ice cream!
Everyone can stay as late as they like but the kids will likely be in bed by 8 p.m.
Then on Sunday we are headed to Chicago for a Korean Festival!
Then Monday is their actual birthday where we are going to do the zoo, McDonald’s for lunch, nap and the Children’s Discovery Museum….
I know not everyone will be able to be at everything so I have an idea — I am going to upload a thisMoment on Saturday and just update it with each new thing so that you can all celebrate with us! Just be sure to keep going to the thisMoment website to see the updates! I will also have ALL of their two year pictures on there!
Anything I have forgotten??? Let me know now….does it sound like fun???
That sounds like so much fun… I wish I lived closer… I would come and crash your party!
Let me know how it goes and how the certain peeps do.
I love that last photo of the two of them! Really, really cute. The party sounds fantastic, the menu sooo yummy. I almost made bulgogi for dinner tonight, but none of us were really hungry. Maybe later this week. MMM . . . and jab chae (or however you spell it — I’ve seen it spelled so many different ways, but it is one of my favorites!).
