Multiple Moments

I mentioned the other day that I am going to host a MomTV show called Multiple Moments – I am sure many of you thought “why would she add this to her already busy week” or “shouldn’t she be putting her kids first” – yeah I know how quite a few of you think….a few of you may have thought “GO Carissa…” or “wow does that woman ever slow down” Well let me tell you the decision was not an easy one – at first I thought NOT IN THIS LIFE TIME, then I thought wow that would be so cool, then where would I add this to my week and finally I thought I am flattered but NO WAY. I love Danielle’s MomTv show – The Spin Cycle and thought there was no way I could make my show that much fun – she is a seasoned journalist and I am just a MOM and a former lawyer.

This is where the lack of electricity, a book that I had been asked to review and some hard looks at my life came into play. Never have I been more thankful for a lack of electricity in my life – I needed the time to figure out what I wanted to do with my life without the phone, the TV, the radio and all the other things that are in my life interfering. At first I tried to keep myself busy with all kinds of other things like playing board games with my husband BUT Aaron had to work and so I needed to do something that I needed to get done. After deciding that I didn’t want to do some of the things that I SHOULD have done, I tried to read on my book reader — well the battery died mid-book and I had to find something new. So I sat and thought about my life and what I wanted from it — I also read an actual book that I will do the review on tomorrow. I decided there were some things I wanted to try in my life to make sure I didn’t miss anything and well this was one of them. I kind of always wanted to be a journalist – and in a weird way that is what this was ALSO it may lead to a book or something and that you all know I am totally and completely for.

So here is where you all come in – if you are around at 9:30 a.m. central time…go to MomTv and go to the Live shows page and click on Multiple Moments and ta da — provided the techinical run through goes ok tomorrow will be the first show….or I guess you could just click on Multiple Moments in the last sentence and you will be there! Also, every once in a while we are going to do adoption related shows — because well that affects my life too….watch for videos about what will be on this weeks show every week!
